how GrowerHelper handles personal data under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018).

1. data controller

GrowerHelper is operated by an independent team based in Brazil. for LGPD purposes, the data controller can be reached at growerhelper@gmail.com. we reply within 15 business days.

2. principle: minimization

the app sends NO personal data to our servers or any third party. every crop record, photo, metric and reminder stays on your device.

3. data we process

none. the app does not send data to our servers. store purchases are mediated by Apple or Google — we only receive the purchase validity status, with no personal data.

4. legal basis

under the current model, personal data processing is waived because the app operates without collecting identifiable data. we keep this section as a reference in case that changes in the future — any change will come with prior notice in the app.

5. purpose

since we do not process personal data in the standard flow, there is no processing purpose to declare. store purchase data is used only to validate the app license.

6. your rights

you have the right to: confirm processing (art. 18, I); access your data (II); correct incomplete or inaccurate data (III); anonymize, block or erase unnecessary or non-compliant data (IV); port to another provider (V); erase data processed under consent (VI); revoke consent (IX). to exercise any right, email growerhelper@gmail.com — we respond within 15 business days.

7. retention and deletion

local data: you wipe it any time via Settings > Erase All. there is no data retention on our servers.

8. security

on-device photos and videos use the phone's own encryption and stay out of the system gallery.

9. data protection officer

data protection inquiries, complaints or rights requests: growerhelper@gmail.com. you may also reach out to the Brazilian Data Protection Authority (ANPD) if you believe your rights have not been addressed.
