LGPD compliance
how GrowerHelper handles personal data under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018).

1. data controller
GrowerHelper is operated by an independent team based in Brazil. for LGPD purposes, the data controller can be reached at contato@growerhelper.com. we reply within 15 business days.
2. principle: minimization
the default app (no premium) sends NO personal data to our servers or any third party. every crop record, photo, metric and reminder stays on your device.
3. data we process
in default use: none. when you enable premium cloud sync, we process: (a) an opaque store identifier (Apple or Google IAP token, no email); (b) crop data encrypted in transit and at rest; (c) date and status of the last sync.
4. legal basis
processing occurs solely on the basis of the data subject's consent (art. 7, I of LGPD), recorded when premium is activated, and on the performance of a contract (art. 7, V) to deliver the sync feature you bought.
5. purpose
data is processed only to: (a) sync your crop across your own devices; (b) restore data after switching devices. we do not use it for marketing, do not share with third parties, and do not derive behavioral profiles.
6. your rights
you have the right to: confirm processing (art. 18, I); access your data (II); correct incomplete or inaccurate data (III); anonymize, block or erase unnecessary or non-compliant data (IV); port to another provider (V); erase data processed under consent (VI); revoke consent (IX). to exercise any right, email contato@growerhelper.com — we respond within 15 business days.
7. retention and deletion
local data: you wipe it any time via Settings > Erase All. premium sync data: kept while the subscription is active; after cancellation, retained for up to 30 days to allow reactivation, then permanently deleted. you can request immediate deletion at the email above.
8. security
on-device photos and videos use the phone's own encryption and stay out of the system gallery. sync data travels over a secure connection and is stored encrypted on the server — we cannot access the decrypted content.
9. international transfer
premium infrastructure runs on servers located in Brazil. if that ever changes, we will notify you via an in-app notice before any international transfer, per LGPD art. 33.
